Housing Counseling is a service that provides assistance with acquiring housing in the community. A housing counselor can assist with the following;

• Counseling and assistance in identifying housing options
• Identifying preferences of location and type of housing 
• Locating available housing options
• Assistance with application and appeal processes 
• Explaining the rights and responsibilities of a tenant with disabilities, including how to ask for reasonable accommodations
